Service of Process

Criminal Matters

If your matter is a criminal proceeding in the United States, Twitch requires a subpoena or other properly served legal process to produce documents or information. We accept service through the Amazon Law Enforcement Request Tracker (ALERT) portal. You can find more information on this process in our Law Enforcement Response page.

If your matter is a criminal proceeding outside of the United States and your country is party to the Mutual Legal Assistance Treaty (MLAT), please follow the MLAT framework that is currently in effect between the United States and your country. Such international requests may be made to the U.S. Department of Justice’s Office of International Affairs. If you have questions involving service of process, please address them within your local agency. Please note that Twitch does not accept international requests for information, documents, or service of process via e-mail and will not respond to such requests.

If you have an urgent law enforcement request for information related to a matter involving imminent danger of death or serious physical injury to any person, please use the emergency disclosure request process. Emergency disclosure requests must be submitted through the ALERT portal, by selecting the emergency request button. In emergency circumstances, the ALERT system will grant law enforcement temporary account access.

Civil Matters Outside of the United States

If you are attempting to serve Twitch with legal process related to a legal matter pending outside the United States:
