Reporting Illegally Filmed Content under Article 22-5 of the Korean Telecommunications Business Act

Posting of any content that constitutes “illegally filmed content, etc.” (IFC) as defined under Article 22-5 of the Korean Telecommunications Business Act (TBA) is prohibited by law and subject to criminal punishment under applicable laws of South Korea. The TBA provides that if any IFC is distributed through information and communications networks, necessary measures (such as deletion) shall be taken pursuant to Article 22-5(1) of the TBA to prevent the distribution.

If you believe there is content on Twitch that constitutes IFC, you can report the content by following the steps below. We will process your report and take relevant measure as appropriate regarding the content reported as IFC in accordance with law.

Any reports or other messages unrelated to IFC, which are submitted on the reporting form and/or to the email address below, will not be processed and should instead be submitted as per: Filing A Report.

How to report and request deletion of IFC:

  1. Download the IFC Distribution Report and Deletion Request reporting form.
  2. Fill out the reporting form and submit it, together with supporting materials, to safetyreports-kr@justin.tv.

Please note that if the reporting form submitted is not filled out accordingly or the content you report as IFC is not specified in the report, we may contact you to ask you to supplement the report, or include necessary information in the report, in order for us to process your report.
